The Gateway, Newcastle is closely monitoring and responding appropriately to the situation with Coronavirus (Covid-19) and advice provided by the NSW Government. The safety and wellbeing of our guests and employees is of paramount importance and remains our top priority.
From 6pm 26th June until 11:59pm Friday 30th July persons who reside or work in a hotspot area or who have been in the Greater Sydney region (including the Blue Mountains, Central Coast, Wollongong and Shellharbour) will not be permitted entry into our Hotels, Wests Clubs or Health Clubs as per NSW Health advice. Masks will be compulsory when entering our Hotel as well as Wests Clubs and Health Clubs and can be purchased at reception for $1 each with 50c from every sale donated to the Ronald McDonald House.
The one person per four square metre rule will be re-introduced and we request that you please practice social distancing and good hygiene measures.
ALL guests are required to check in upon entry with the Service NSW QR code system.
